During a 90-minute session, we presented and discussed selected results from the PROTECT.Ing project with the audience in an interactive format.
Following an introduction to the European legal framework and a brief overview of the implementation status in Germany, we presented the methodological approach of our workshops and the resulting requirements for digital solutions to support the identification, documentation, communication and addressing of refugees’ specific needs.
Finally, we discussed the results presented and their implications for professionals in community health with the audience.
Many thanks to the participants for the lively discussion and to the conference team for the excellent organisation. The Community Health Conference promotes interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary exchange, opening up new perspectives by presenting innovative concepts that contribute to reducing social and health inequalities, discrimination, and the health disadvantages experienced by disadvantaged groups.
